As dedicated members of the community, we want to help Woodstock thrive in times of uncertainty. Our clients, our friends, our fellow business owners, and our families are all dealing with different levels of stress during a time when schools, businesses, and even parks are shutting down. We want to help support every community member, and we know that some of you do too. So, we’ve put together this list of what you can do to get involved.
3 Simple Things You Can Do to Support Businesses
in Woodstock, Ga
Order Takeout or Delivery: Companies such as Grubhub, Zifty, Uber Eats, and more are still delivering takeout from many local restaurants. If you’ve been cooking more than you ever wanted to, then it’s time to get a feast from your friends. We also encourage you to contact your favorite local restaurants directly to see if they are now offering pickup/delivery to avoid the middleman altogether.
Shop Local: While we are not encouraging you to go out and violate the social distancing guide, there are some businesses that are still open that you can take advantage of wearing protective gear and keeping your distance from other shoppers. Patch has put together a Google Doc that details what is open and what is not.
Keep an Eye Out for Charities: Many places are collecting donations of all types: food, monetary, essentials, and more. Follow all your favorite businesses on social media to see who is offering specials to help with charity. Specifically, we saw Reformation Brewery doing a special to help benefit their employees. So, consider getting a beer!
